Dr Dania Qatarneh

Specialist fields:
Dania specialises in medical retina and cataract surgery. Her areas of expertise include Diabetic eye disease, Age-related macular degeneration and retinal vascular disease. She has extensive experience with retinal lasers, cataract surgery and intra-vitreal injections.

Dania is also actively involved in the latest research and clinical trials in the field of medical retina by holding a position as a senior research fellow at CERA.

Previously:
She graduated with honours from Cambridge University medical school in 2003.  Dania completed her ophthalmology registrar training at the renowned Moorfields Eye hospital in London.  After which she spent 2 years as a fellow in medical retina and uveitis both at Moorfields and the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear hospitals.  She currently works as a consultant ophthalmologist at the Alfred hospital and the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear hospitals in Melbourne.

The other side to Dania:
Dania is a keen tennis player, enjoys travel & art cinema
